Long Description
This workshop provides an overview of the resilience valuation tools and resources developed by the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) and the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) which are available for Federal agencies and sites. Attendees will walk through how to use the Customer Damage Function (CDF) Calculator, FEMP's new resilience valuation calculator for facilities and buildings, using their own data. The CDF Calculator is a resource for facility owners and resilience planners to understand the costs of an electric grid outage at their site. The calculator provides a process to elicit facility outage vulnerabilities and estimates how costs vary with outage duration.
