This workshop is for attendees who want to learn about ESPC basics and get started with the projects. The workshop focuses on how ESPCs can help agencies address their missions-related objectives, cut greenhouse gas emissions, and create good-paying jobs, while meeting new requirements relating to Energy Act of 2020, amended 42 U.S.C. § 8253(f)(4), Executive Order 14057 (Catalyzing Clean Energy Industries and Jobs Through Federal Sustainability) and new Climate Smart Buildings Initiative. Understanding ESPCs as a tool will inform stakeholders about considerations when planning to achieve legislative and executive order mandates.
