The objectives of this energy and water metering workshop are to allow energy users to examine and discuss the rapid transition from standard meters to advanced/smart meters in terms of reduced energy costs, ongoing cybersecurity requirements, and compliance with international standards and national regulations. This workshop would include introduction to the Water Metering Best Practices Guide per Energy Act 2020, EO 14057, and Implementing Instructions. The workshop would also include introduction to new Federal Metering Guidance per Energy Act 2020, EO 14057, Implementing Instructions, FAMIS 2019, ASHRAE 90.1-2019, NIOSH 800-37, etc., especially how to prepare and submit the multi-year agency metering implementation plans.
