Applying Performance Contracting Tools And Resources For Federal Agencies To Meet New EA20 Requirements And GHG Targets

This workshop focuses on how agencies can apply performance contracting tools and resources to meet the new Energy Act of 2020 (EA20) requirements and greenhouse gas (GHG) targets by taking an agency through the planning and project development processes. Agencies will better understand how to integrate the new EA20 law (amended at 42 U.S.C.§ 8253(f)(4)) with the new Executive Order 14057 (Catalyzing Clean Energy Industries and Jobs Through Federal Sustainability) to meet their own missions-related objectives. Examples and considerations will be presented to help agencies evaluate technology categories in developing their project, including a brief tutorial on eProject Builder to demonstrate GHG reduction calculation capabilities.
