Webinar provides attendees with an overview of the contracting options and services available from their local utility companies to engineer, finance, and install cost-effective energy- and water-savings projects. Participants will be walked through the typical project process—from the audit phase to commissioning the equipment. Highlights include introducing participants to utility energy service contracts (UESCs) and helping them determine if a UESC is right for their site.

Julia Kelley joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 1991 where she is the group leader of the Residential and Commercial Energy Efficiency Group. Since 1996, Julia has been heavily involved in supporting the U.S. Department of Energy’s Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP), in particular FEMP’s Utility Program. Julia has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of third-party financing arrangements for Federal-sector energy efficiency projects, utility demand side management and building energy-efficiency technology deployment programs. She is a member of the FEMP Utility Training and Technical Assistance team. She coordinates the Energy Lawyers and Contracting Officers Forum for the FEMP Utility Program. Prior to her work on the FEMP Utility Team, she also worked on utilities and energy efficiency with the International Energy Agency and Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation programs. Close Bio
