Portfolio Energy Performance

Better Buildings Challenge Partners strive to decrease portfolio-wide source energy use intensity (EUI) and to increase the percent improvement compared to a set baseline. Camas' portfolio consists of 13 buildings. Since 2009, Camas has improved energy performance by 17 percent. Energy savings have been achieved by setting district HVAC set-point standards, control commissioning, and upgrades to HVAC systems.

Energy Performance by Facility

Looking at the percent improvement in energy performance across all facilities can provide insight into how an organization is saving energy. Camas has achieved energy performance improvement of greater than 15% at 7 facilities, which shows the significant progress the organization has made through energy management efforts. Three facilities are not included in this chart as they were built later than Camas' baseline date.

Identifying Opportunities for Improvement

Facility-level energy performance metrics, including EUI and percent improvement to date, are critical to track progress over time and identify opportunities for additional energy savings.
