The Cornell LVMP is a comprehensive program that incorporates institutional energy goals with the maintenance of the health and safety of the lab population. This presentation focuses on the components of the program that support both priorities. Also highlighted are the changes and additions to the Lab Design Standard that recently underwent a revision in order to align the design process with both safety and energy priorities.

Learning Objectives:

  • • Gain an understanding of the drivers for having a lab ventilation program
  • • Learn about aspects of lab ventilation management system that incorporates metrics for program improvement
  • • Gain and understanding of how to safely reduce ventilation in labs

High Efficiency Parking Lighting for Federal Agencies: The Time Is Now to Join LEEP and Get the Resources You Need

The Lighting Energy Efficiency in Parking (LEEP) Campaign is a recognition and guidance program offering free resources including a lighting project evaluation calculator, utility incentives databases, free technical assistance, and more. This presentation will 1) provide Federal requirements for exterior lighting, 2) provide an overview of the LEEP Campaign resources and how to join the campaign, and 3) demonstrate how LED Lighting Facts for Federal Users can be used to identify LED exterior lighting products that meet FEMP designated levels. The webinar will include a 40-minute presentation and a 20-minute live question and answer session with the attendees.
