Award-Winning LEEP Campaign Sites Demonstrate Big Savings in High Efficiency Parking Lighting

May 29, 2014
2:00-3:00 PM EDT

Presenters: Michael Myer (Pacific Northwest National Laboratory), Puneet Vedi (University of Minnesota), Tom Corso (MC Realty Group LLC)

An often overlooked opportunity for saving energy and money is just outside your door - parking lighting! On April 15, 2014, twelve organizations were recognized by the Lighting Energy Efficiency in Parking (LEEP) Campaign for leading the way in energy-efficient parking lighting. These organizations, combined with others who submitted for a LEEP award, are saving nearly 45 million kilowatt-hours and $4 million annually by upgrading to high efficiency lighting in over 500,000 parking spaces. The LEEP Campaign is a recognition and guidance program supported through the Building Owners and Managers Association, the Green Parking Council, and the International Facility Management Association, with technical assistance from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Alliance. Register today.

Join the webinar for an overview of resources available through the LEEP Campaign, and hear directly from LEEP Campaign award winners about their winning sites. The webinar includes a 40 minute presentation and a 20 minute live question and answer session with attendees.
