Review a specification for ultra-low temperature freezers (ULF)
The Laboratories team is currently in the review process for an ultra-low temperature freezer (ULF) specification. A typical ULF can use up to 20 kWh of electricity per day—as much as a small house! Replacing it with a unit that meets the specification can save up to 3,000 kWh per year and as much as $1,500 over 5 years.
